Local Jersey City Theatre
One of the best things about living in Port Liberte is the wealth of cultural activities including local art galleries and theatre groups. Last month Mike and I enjoyed an evening of great food, dinner at Porto Leggero, and the theater, “The Dining Room” presented by The Attic Ensemble at the Barrow Mansion. As usual, the play was great.
Coming up this month we are scheduled to enjoy another evening of dinner and theater with a group of Port Liberte friends. We will be attending a performance of “Regrets Only” by the Jersey City Theater located across from beautiful Hamilton Park, home to many fine restaurants and shops. The show, a timely political and funny show by playwright Paul Rudnick runs October 12 thru October 27. With ticket prices of only $20 this is a great way to spend a Saturday night.

Kitten rescued by JCFD at Port Liberte
This afternoon, when a customer at the Port Liberte Deli heard a faint meow coming from under her car, she called the Jersey City Fire Department. After removing her rear wheel a cute, frightened and very lucky black kitten emerged. If you are interested in adopting this cute kitten, please contact the Liberty Humane Society.
